Lisa Morton’s work is ‘consistently dark, unsettling and frightening.’ That’s an appraisal given to her by The American Library Association’s Readers’ Advisory Guide to Horror. In person she’s friendly and unassuming and modest about her success in the horror genre. She has won Bram Stoker awards in several literary categories.

Lisa began her writing career where most people aspire to be, as a screenwriter in Hollywood. Check out her IMDB credits and be impressed. She followed those screenplays with short stories and then novels. I met and interviewed Lisa at the World Horror Con in New Orleans. In the video she talks about her writing career, her techniques and her latest publications, Summer’s End and Smog.

You can find out more about the award-winning Lisa Morton and her writing at her web page:
